It all started with the first Luxxacation at Swan River’s Rest in Swan Valley, MT. All we wanted was a place where we could focus on what really matters in life, beginning interiorly, and then building out on a solid foundation. Taking time to think, away from all the distractions, at first even time away from personal activities. Time just to be, and step outside of yourself, to see yourself from a new perspective. Like from that of the eagles.

Shortly after we arrived we were greeted by a convocation of seven bald eagles encircling above us for quite some time in the small field behind the lodge.

As they continued circling directly above, wondering how long this could possibly go on, I looked up and said, “this has to be a sign of something great being granted here.” No, I am not superstitious in the least, it’s just that these eagles were blatant, intentional, persistent, and their presence directly over our heads was powerful . . . unforgettable.
